since my dad is english educated, he used to speak english 2 us when we were young..but i always reply him with mandarin but i think i wil practice 1 language of 1 parent to my future children because i think learning a second language simultaneously will let d children to become multi-tasking and response faster:) mom used to speak mandarin with us..but "teo chew"(dialect) wif dad..that's why we dono how to speak the dialect now..
